Founded in 1986, we started out as an engineering-based holding company with subsidiaries engaged in contract equipment manufacturing (“CEM”), trading and of distribution of electronic components and providing printed circuit board (PCB) design and fabrication services. We gradually grew to provide more sophisticated capital equipment and turnkey manufacturing solutions to our customers. We further engaged into the business of providing after-sales service for mobile phones in 1996, and original design manufacture of PDA phones in 2004.

To capitalize on our profitable CEM business, we undergone a major restructuring in the first half of 2006 with the divestment of the after-market services and ODM businesses.

We work with our strategic business alliances in Plastic, Rubber, Metal -stamping and Metal-machining to provide a one-stop service for product realization for our customers in the equipment manufacturing, gaming, medical, data storage, telecommunication, and electronic industries.

Our team of engineers and staff are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge in providing customers in transforming concepts into end products meeting their time-to-market and time-to-volume requirements.

SEM Manufacturing has over 20 years experience in providing turnkey Electronic Manufacturing Services. We provide both Circuit Manufacturing and Equipment Manufacturing capabilities. Our Circuit Manufacturing capabilities include both the Rigid PCB Assembly and Flexible PCB Assembly. These capabilities can be utilized at all levels from the initial low volume production as in rapid prototype products, through to the ongoing mid to high volume manufacturing of complex, multi-technology Rigid and Flexible PCB Assemblies. Circuit Manufacturing forms a core part of our Electronics Manufacturing Services.

Our Design Capability
SEM Manufacturing has a team of engineers and printed circuit board designers with many years of experience in PCB routing and PCB Design. We ensure expert PCB Routing, quick turnarounds, accurate completion dates, as well as assistance and coordination of purchasing, design and manufacturing.
